Is this autobiographical? i'm sure all poems are to some extent. If so, I like how you refer to yourself as a messenger, instead of a teacher. This poem also makes me imagine you speeding down the road on your bike towards the bus stop early in the morning.

I didn't think of it that way, but it makes sense.
My thought was to make a passing reference to writing two haiku's a day, instead of one.
