She's waited as long

She's waited as long
As she can stand. She bursts out
Of hiding, brown streak.

This reminds me of that part in Bambi when the quails are hiding in the grass because the hunters are back and ready to kill. Then the one says "He's getting closer. I can't stand it!" and whoosh! off she flies only to be shot down. Yea, it is sad, but that is what this particular haiku makes me think about.

"brown streak" sort of made me think of poopy.

I can see the sense of the poo interpretation. It definitely makes sense, though it's not what I was thinking of when I wrote it. I was more in line with Michelle's thoughts, but ultimately, that's what it means to let one's thoughts out of one's own head. They become whatever someone else makes of them. (that seems kind of pretentious when I read back over it, but I can't think of a better way to make the same point.)
